In our breeding program you can find a lot of bloodlines of Silveiras stud.
The official name is Sociedade das Silveiras, which started in 1981 founded by Manuel Braga in Samora Correia, close to Golegã. He started their breeding with mares from Coimbra, Veiga and Meneses.
Silveiras stud is one of Portugals most important breeder and exporter of Lusitanos, and has already bred a lot of very functionally good, famous and price winning mares and stallions in show. These horses are very successful in a lot of different disciplines such as Working Equitation, Dressage and bull fighting.
We have a lot of respect for Manuel Braga, his thinking and knowledge.
For us Silveiras and Veiga are an inspiration for the basis of our own breeding. We believe that mixing their proven ancient bloodlines will give us the best for the future !
We are super happy with the results of the foals of 2023, Traquejo JP and Torante JP. Here we have used the recommended stallion Morante SS and Almansor SS , both of Silveiras stud.
